Your safety and the safety of our team is our top priority, and you will notice that we have some new precautions in place when you visit our office. These precautions include:

Asking you to remain in your car and call or text us when you arrive. We will let you know when we are ready for you and will escort you directly to your room. If the patient is a minor, only one parent or caregiver may accompany them.

Removing magazines, toys, and drinks from our waiting room.

Dental implants are one of the options available for replacement of missing teeth. Dental implants have been in use since 1965. They consist of a metal base, usually titanium, which is surgically placed into the jaw bone, to support an abutment and a crown. Richard J. Yong, DDS
After graduating from the University of Southern California Dental School in 2000, Dr. Yong spent some time working with other dentists before opening his own practice with his wife, Dr. Kim. Now with over 17 years of experience, he is dedicated to helping patients achieve beautiful healthy smiles while constantly updating his knowledge of new dental practices in order to ensure the best possible care for his patients. When he isn't working on your smile, you can often find Dr. Yong will be at local swim meets and road trips with his family.
Haesung Kim, DDS
A graduate of the University of Southern California Dental School, Dr. Kim has been practicing dentistry in California since 2000. After garnering experience in the field as an associate dentist, she opened this practice alongside her husband, and together they have worked diligently to provide premium dental care to their patients. As a meticulous person by nature, Dr. Kim will always strive to ensure that her work is done to the very best of her ability . When she is not perfecting her craft, you can find Dr. Kim volunteering at swim meets and spending time with her family.

First Visit
Upon arriving for your first visit, please be prepared to complete all insurance and health information forms that will allow us to begin your first exam & treatment. We will ask you to fill out several forms that will get you acquainted with our office.
The initial comprehensive exam of your teeth and gums generally lasts from 30 minutes to an hour. After the initial exam, we will be able to diagnosis your current dental condition and suggest the best treatment method for each individual case. Since graduating at the top of her class as a Registered Dental Assistant, Iris has been a with Yong & Kim Dentistry since 2008 and knows in and out of front and back office tasks. In her working life, she exhibits efficiency and compassion in all of her interactions with our patients, looking to build personal relationships with our clients. Outside of work, Iris enjoys spending quality time with her family and you will find her in weekend soccer match game.
